Shipwreck & Lifesaving Museum: Programs & Events
Sharing stories of Nantucket’s shipwrecks and heroic rescues, both past and present, skilled interpreters are available to lead guided tours for both adults and children. Included with admission, these tours are offered daily throughout the season.
Family Days at the Shipwreck & Lifesaving Museum will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 14th and Thursday, August 11th. In addition to the daily guided tours and films that are available throughout the season, other activities will include crafts, a scavenger hunt and maritime games and music in which children may participate.
Shipwreck Stories & Sea Shanties
Local actors and musicians will perfom dramatic readings of famous Shipwreck Stories interspersed with lively Sea Shanties.
