Every Monday: Whale Oil and Wash-Ashores, Nantucket’s Working Waterfront. In collaboration with Waypoint Marine, Egan Maritime is delighted to
offer a 45 minute historic harbor cruise. Enjoy being on-the-water while

Every Tuesday: Weekly Children’s Program at the Shipwreck & Lifesaving Museum. Children are invited to the Museum every Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30am for an educational program that brings Nantucket’s maritime history to life through dynamic, engaging activities and enthralling stories. family friendly program full of crafts and activities for all ages. Special guest, Nanpuppets,
will be performing at 11:30am. This program is
FREE and open to all thanks to the generous support of Ritchie, Katie

Every Thursday: Weekly Maritime Speaker Series at the Shipwreck & Lifesaving Museum. For the second consecutive season, Egan’s Maritime Speaker Series hosted at the Museum will take place on Thursday mornings at 10am. A variety of local maritime historians and seasoned professionals will share their stories and perspectives with visitors. This program will go through the month of August, is included with Museum admission and is generously underwritten by Ritchie, Katie, and Westray Battle.

Wednesday, August 7: 2019 Sea of Opportunities Benefit Luncheon. Join Egan Maritime at the 2019 Sea of Opportunities Benefit Luncheon to honor one of Nantucket's most beloved and treasured community members, Harbor Master Sheila Lucey. We are proud to honor Sheila and her immeasurable contributions to the island, including safeguarding and protecting Nantucket’s waters. Her unparalleled admiration for Nantucket and its people is inspiring and commendable, and her impact extends far beyond the waters surrounding the island. Additionally, Egan Maritime will toast our founding members in celebration of our 30 years of serving Nantucket. Special remarks will be given by Egan's first Executive Director, award-winning author, Nathaniel Philbrick. Event begins at 11:30am; Lunch at Noon at the Great Harbor Yacht Club Ballroom. Friday, August 9: Pirates & Mermaids Lynx Sail with Nanpuppets. Join Egan Maritime and Nanpuppets aboard Tall Ship Lynx for an enchanting morning sail with Nantucket's favorite puppets, Millie the Mermaid, Clarence the Clam, Wanda the Whale and many more. Dress as your favorite pirate, mermaid or maritime character to enjoy this fanciful adventure at sea. Snacks provided. Boat launch from Waypoint Marine at 8:30am. Sail 9am to 10am. Thursday, August 15: Bill Schustik, an American Troubadour. Join Egan Maritime at the Museum with renowned troubadour Bill Schustik for an evening of traditional folk music that weaves storytelling, rich history, and theatrical performance together. It will be a musical adventure into the soul of New England and the sea. Refreshments and libations will be served. Shipwreck & Lifesaving Museum, 158 Polpis Road, 5:30pm. Join Egan Maritime aboard Tall Ship Lynx with renowned troubadour Bill Schustik for an evening of traditional folk music that weaves storytelling, rich history, and theatrical performance together.
