Captain Don Peacock will speak about how the Tall Ship Lynx contributes to our Sea of Opportunities education programs.
Learn About Our Maritime Education Program
Evan Schwanfelder, our Manager of Maritime Education, will speak about current activities within the program, and he will be showing off a 10' boat built entirely by a group of Nantucket High School students. The boat will be auctioned off at the event!
Explore Our Newest Artifact
Come see our newest artifact: a 6,000-pound anchor from a Nantucket Lightship once stationed on the South Shore Shoals.
Meet Chloe Plank, Sea of Opportunities Graduate
You'll hear from Chloe Plank, a 26-year-old graduate of our Sea of Opportunities program and Massachusetts Maritime Academy, who is now fulfilling her dream of working on a large U.S. Navy supply ship.
