This winter, we are excited to offer a unique, hands-on enrichment opportunity for students in grades 6–8: the Youth Boat Builders Program.
Students will work together to build a 12-foot wooden boat — a Bevin’s skiff — from start to finish, guided by expert instructors at the Cape Cod Maritime Museum. The program emphasizes teamwork, problem-solving, craftsmanship, and experiential learning, and concludes with the launch of the completed boat in Hyannis Harbor.
When: Saturdays, Feb. 7 - Mid-April.
With an Egan chaperone, students will take the 7:40 a.m. Hy-Line to Hyannis, returning to Nantucket by 1 p.m.

Who: Middle School Students ( Ages 11+)
This program is 100% Free - travel costs included, thanks to the Nantucket Golf Club Foundation.
This is a wonderful opportunity for students who enjoy hands-on projects, working collaboratively, and learning through real-world experiences.
