A featured speaker in our special lecture series this year is Robert M. Mannino, president of
Boston’s United States Lightship Museum LV-112. As the leader of what is widely recognized
as the finest example of an institution honoring the lightships that once served in the hazardous
waterways of America, Bob brings expertise and a perspective that will delight and engage our
members and friends. Historic preservation, maritime vocations, and educational opportunities
have long been important to him. We invite all to attend Bob’s lecture to hear him share his
research and successful activities to preserve an essential part of the U.S. Coast Guard’s history.
