Join us on the Shipwreck Shuttle for a visit to the original location of the Madaket Lifesaving Station with stops at the locations of its buildings moved long ago. Founded in 1891, the station closed in 1947. Stories about the transformation of this lifesaving station are also part of the story of the life of the island’s beloved Madaket Millie. The group is limited to 12 participants and originates at Sherburne Commons.
