School vacation boredom buster! Get out of the house and join us at the Shipwreck & Lifesaving Museum for a hands-on STEM Kit Workshop. Participants will build their own air-powered mini cannon and discover how the historic Lyle Gun—a lifesaving cannon—helped rescue people at sea. Plus, explore the breeches buoy rescue method and learn how cannon-fired lines played a crucial role in maritime safety.
This is a youth program for ages 8+. Each ticket includes one child registration and one kit. Children must be accompanied by an adult (minimum of one adult per three children).
