Members of Egan Maritime enjoyed a foggy and salty sail aboard Tall Ship Lynx on Tuesday, August 21. Active service men from the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Station Brant Point and retired members of the USCG and United States Navy shared their professional stories and experiences. All hands on-deck assisted with the ropes to lift the sails while underway. This lively program narrated the Coast Guard's service on Nantucket past and present.
Egan Maritime is grateful to Maurice Gibbs (USN Ret.), Carl England (USCG Ret.), and United States Coast Guard Station Brant Point for participating in the Sea of Honor Members-only sail. Their time provided Egan Maritime members with an opportunity to gain insight into their vital work safeguarding the waters around Nantucket as well as national waterways.
