Join us on the Shipwreck Shuttle for a visit to the original location of the Surfside Lifesaving Station. Constructed in 1874-75, Surfside was the first station operating on Nantucket. Over the years, it has been altered and is much different from the original structure. We will talk about rescues, sacrifices, and life at the station with tales of the courageous lifesavers who put their lives on the line.
