You’ve been shipwrecked on a remote island—now it’s time to figure out how to survive! Designed for ages 8–12, this hands-on workshop turns survival learning into an interactive adventure. Guided by professional primitive survival instructor Gerry Holmes (15+ years of experience), participants will work through challenges inspired by real wilderness survival situations.
Throughout the program, kids will explore:
- Identifying and gathering plants for basic first aid use
- Fire-building techniques and what it takes to create and sustain a flame
- Survival strategy concepts, including how simple snares work
- Observation, teamwork, and problem-solving through hands-on challenges
This is a beginner-friendly experience designed to build confidence, curiosity, and practical outdoor skills.
Registration is required. This program is drop-off optional (parents/guardians may drop children off or may stay and observe).
